Whether you want to improve or learn for the first time, we supply everything including the bike, gear, and coaching. We elevate the fun by lowering the cost and risk, operating on small paved circuits like kart tracks using mini motorcycles. Going Racing? We can prepare you or your rider for fun competition. We have an Arrive & Race Program, gear rental, technicians and coaching available.

Who we Are

Our founder and director, Toni Sharpless is an accomplished motorcycle racer who has spent decades racing motorcycles in North America and around the world, landing her a spot in the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame. After seeing the training and support that exists throughout Europe and Asia for young riders, Toni wants to bring some of that home to Canada.

Currently in Canada you are eligible to race in CSBK, the national road racing series when you reach the age of 15. With limited ways for kids to practice on pavement, our motorcycle athletes have been dropping well behind the world leaders in road racing. Not since Canadians Michelle Duff in the 60’s and Miguel Duhamel in the 90’s has Canada had a rider on the podium at world series road race event.

Our Goal

At the Super Sonic Road Race School, we want to help change the current trend in Canada by giving an opportunity to young racers, as well as introducing more people to the sport of road racing. By increasing both the ridership and fan base, we can create our own positive future on world road race circuits. Our goal at the Super Sonic Road Race School is to see the Canadian flag waved proudly above podiums at world circuits.

What we Do

“We offer the most fun you could possibly have on a motorcycle. Mini-sized bikes offering big sized fun!” Toni Sharpless. Learn the science and practice the skills necessary for cornering and braking techniques, learn about race lines and race strategies. If you have past road race experience, come out and practice your craft.

Super Sonic Road Racing School employs champion winning instructors using small displacement mini-motos with a seat height under 30" (762mm) on small paved closed-courses like go-kart tracks (outdoor and indoor) operating at lower speeds, lower centre of gravity, and lower cost, making it highly available to a broad group of people.

Whether your a new rider, a seasoned veteran, a street bike rider, a dirt bike racer, an off-road enthusiast, or just want to try road racing, the Super Sonic Road Race School is for you!

Our Mission

Our mission at the Super Sonic Road Race School is to provide a fun and safe introduction to road racing motorcycles for all ages and experience levels with a clear aim to give rise to future Canadian Champions competing internationally at the highest level.

The Magic of Mini!

At the Super Sonic Road Race School we believe in start small to finish fast! We will teach you the science of Road Racing by using mini motorcycles. Our championship winning instructors utilize race proven techniques developed over years of racing on large tracks at speed, scaled down to small motorcycles on paved courses like go-kart tracks.

We use small displacement modified mini-motos with a seat height 20"- 30”. The mini motorcycles allow us to teach the craft of Road Racing at lower speeds, lower centre of gravity, lower risk and lower cost - all at a higher level of fun! With our 10 Level course offerings, the Super Sonic Road Race School becomes highly attractive to a broad range of people. We supply all the gear, instruction and bikes so you can have a fun day. We operate at four (4) different locations : Brechin Motorsports Park situated near Beaverton, Ontario Lombardy Raceway south of Smith Falls, ON Flamboro Speedway in Millgrove, On (near Hamilton) and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park north of Toronto, ON. All locations are well suited for beginners and the very experienced. We are a mobile business and will be operating at several other facilities.
